The States of Jersey Health and Social Services Department is looking to enter into a contract for hand-held blood glucose meters and associated consumables.

Ketone reading is also to be a requirement.

The potential benefits of having glucometers which can connect to our IT network will also be examined during the process.

We are approaching this project in partnership with other healthcare groups within Jersey such as the Ambulance Service, St Johns Ambulance, Jersey Hospice and our community nursing structure.

We invite interested parties with experience of supplying equipment, consumables and related service and support to express interest. (www.tenders.gov.je)

The tender documents should be ready for publication in early October.
