In the new wing of the Geschwister-Scholl-Realschule, built in 1972 with a gross floor area of approx. 3,800 m², the pollutants asbestos, PCB and KMF were detected in 2022. The building was then completely gutted except for the supporting structure and the corridor walls. All detected pollutants have been removed. Now a restoration of the premises for school operations, an energetic upgrading of the building envelope, a façade modernization and the arrangement of an elevator are planned. The planning services required for these structural measures are to be provided by a so-called general planner. The estimated gross costs of KG 300 and 400 according to DIN 276 for the general refurbishment are around EUR 5.4 million. The construction project is scheduled to be completed at the beginning of the 2025/2026 school year on 27.08.2025 and the building should be usable again for school operations.
The subject matter of the contract to be awarded for general planning services is the following services (basic services and, if applicable, the following services: Special services of the respective HOAI service profiles):
a) Object planning of buildings and interiors within the meaning of § 34 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 10.1, service phases 1-9,
b) Structural planning within the meaning of § 51 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 14.1, work phases 1-6,
d) Specialist planning of technical equipment within the meaning of § 55 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 15.1, plant groups in accordance with § 53 para. 2 nos. 1-8 HOAI, service phases 1-9,
e) Services building physics within the meaning of § 3 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 1.2.2, work phases 1-7
