ekom21 - Kommunales Gebietsrechenzentrum Hessen (ekom21) is the largest municipal IT service provider in Hesse and is one of the three largest BSI-certified municipal IT service companies in Germany with locations in Darmstadt, Gießen and Kassel.

The approximately 500 members in Hesse and other customers nationwide include around 29,000 end users from local governments and other public institutions, such as counties, cities, municipalities, municipal companies, special-purpose associations, institutions, hospitals and homes. In the state sector, Ekom21 serves numerous state associations, ministries and regional presidents.

For the central printing center at the Kassel data center site, the procurement of tabulation paper as roll goods for delivery is planned.

ekom21 maintains its central printing centre in Kassel. For this purpose, ekom21 intends to procure tabulating paper in rolls for delivery to the printing center at the Kassel data center site. The tender is a framework agreement without a purchase obligation with up to three (3) economic operators, and the individual contracts for a period of six (6) months each are awarded in mini-competitions.

The framework agreements will start on 01.10.2023 and are limited until 30.09.2027.

The contract will be awarded after successful test printing in accordance with the service description. If the client cannot determine compatibility with the printers used (Canon ColorStream 3000 and ColorStream 6000), the contractor has the right to rectify the defect once. If the rectification is also unsuccessful, no contract can be awarded. - The test checks the runnability of the paper on the existing machines. For the test on each of the two printers used, a roll of 20,000 sheets (approx. half a regular roll) is required.
