Introduction

The City of Mölndal (the Client) invites applicants (Supplier) to apply to participate in the procurement regarding Security-creating technology for ordinary housing.

Extent

The City of Mölndal is conducting a procurement of security-creating technology, which aims to increase the individual person's (user's) independence, personal integrity, participation, security and freedom of choice, but also to create a modern, sustainable and efficient work environment for employees and managers in health and social care. By taking advantage of the opportunities that digitalization creates and the smart solutions that are currently on the market, the City of Mölndal can meet and take account of today's as well as tomorrow's needs.

The supplier shall take overall responsibility for installation, operation, error correction and support of the system. The agreement can also be used to meet future needs in different types of housing, for example by having the opportunity to take advantage of innovative solutions that are not yet on the market. Mölndal is therefore also looking for a partner to be able to try out new solutions together.

In the city of Mölndal there are currently about 1150 users with social alarms from the municipality. Mölndal currently buys alarm management via an alarm center, where the alarm center then forwards alarms according to the agreed routine. In the city of Mölndal there are also the most common accessory alarms such as door alarms, motion alarms, etc. The City of Mölndal has also begun work with digital supervision, an area that is expected to grow in the coming years.
