Department of Organizational Management, ICT, Leasing Framework Contract for the Financing of Hardware and Software -The city of Kaiserslautern has been leasing hardware and software for the administration and schools of municipal sponsorship for several years.

- The leasing framework contract to be concluded here is used to finance new replacement purchases of hardware and software (in particular PCs, thin clients, notebooks, monitors, servers, as well as central IT system technology (eg firewall, SAN systems) and others electronic equipment)). It is calculated with an annual gross investment sum i. H. v. approx. 700 000.00 EUR,

- The selection of the hardware and software to be procured takes place within the framework of the procurement regulations by the lessee.

The lessor is instructed by the lessee to purchase the relevant equipment from the respective supplier at the specified conditions. The lessor creates a rental note and calculates the city of Kaiserslautern mtl. Lease payments. The lessee independently concludes an electronic insurance and waits for the devices after the warranty period on their own.
