A new, urban, mixed-use urban quarter is to be built on the post office site in the heart of Leonberg's old town. The planned construction project requires the predominant demolition of the existing buildings as well as the entire post office building. For this purpose, an exploratory pollutant analysis as well as a remediation and disposal concept are required.

The demolition involves the following buildings and the following outdoor facilities (see plan attached to the tender documents):

• Bahnhofstr. 1,

• Bahnhofstr. 5,

• Eltinger footpath 2/1 with transition, without cellar,

• Garage Eltinger Fußweg 2/2,

• Eltinger footpath 4 with garage, without cellar,

• Eltinger Str. 24, incl. paved surfaces (asphalt etc.),

• Eltinger Str. 32,

• Sea road.

Planning is to be started immediately after commissioning. The measures (dismantling) must be settled by September 2024.
