Stavanger Municipality and Sola Municipality hereby invite tenderers to a contest for the delivery of fire extinguishing equipment and service of fire extinguishers, fire hoses and fire drums for municipal buildings and residences within the municipality's buildings.
The municipalities are responsible for ensuring that the fire extingusishing equipment in use in our buildings is safe and secure and that maintenance and inspections are carried out on them in accordance with the Norwegian Standards NS 3910 and NS-EN 671-3.
As soon as possible after signing the contract, the tenderer must establish a service plan for all buildings included in the attached building overviews for the two municipalities, cf. Annex 4 and Annex 5. The plan must include the timing and description of the work. This must be approved by each municipality before work starts.
An overview of the current fire extinguishing equipment, fire hose drums and their numbers are shown in the Price Form in Annex 1. Some of these may be cancelled during the contract period, and new items may be included in the contract under the same conditions.
The range of services and products offered must have sufficient breadth and depth to cover the contracting authority's complete needs for service and maintenance of fire extinguishing equipment, fire hoses and fire drums during the contract period.
Service means the servicing and inspection of, for example, fire extinguishing equipment, fire hoses and fire drums for municipal buildings and residences. The contract will cover service of new and existing devices.
Fire extinguishing equipment mainly means powder, foam, grease fire and CO2 extinguishers for buildings and dwellings in municipalities. This also applies to fire hoses, fire drums, fire blankets, smoke detectors, signs and other fire extinguishing equipment.
The contracting authority will enter into a contract with one tenderer.
