This public contract concerns a geophysical prospecting campaign in Wallonia.
As part of the DGE-ROLLOUT project (INTERREG NWE, Project number: NWE 892) funded by the ERDF and the Walloon Region, the Geological Service of Belgium, a service of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, intends to conduct geophysical prospecting investigations (via the seismic reflection method) in order to determine the presence of reservoirs Geothermal Dinantien (Lower Carboniferous) under the Midi fault. The object of the contract will consist in the realization of a new 2D seismic reflection campaign, called “GEOCOND 2022”, along 2 profiles L1 and L2 (see §3.3: Figure 8, Figure 9 and Figure 10). The main objective of the campaign is to investigate the Walloon subsoil with the help of geophysical reconnaissance, in particular, at the level of geometry, structure and lithological characteristics from the Variscan front units (Brabançon parautochton, and scales and inverted massifs of Haine-Sambre-Meuse, Fault du Midi) to the Allochton Ardennes.
The market consists of a single lot and is divided into three parts/phases:
● Part 1: Permitting;
● Part 2: On-site data acquisition;
● Part 3: Data processing.
This market consists of investigating a maximum of kilometers to be distributed along the 2 profiles (L1 and L2) while respecting the available budget of this market (600,000€ VAT included). The number of kilometres to be built will be determined on the basis of Table 7 provided by the tenderer and by the choice by the contracting authority of the procurement parameters after the initial field trials. A single lot is provided for in the context of this contract, given the need for the successful tenderer to master all the phases for the drafting of the reports requested and to be able to carry out the phases in an appropriate manner.
