Renovasjons- og gjenvinningsetaten (REG) [the Agency for Waste Management], hereafter called the contracting authority, is responsible for ensuring collection of all household waste in Oslo kommune [Oslo Municipality]. The contracting authority currently has approx. 100 lorries (waste collection vehicles), of which approx. 50 waste collection vehicles will be subject to this contract from contract commencement (see the attached list of vehicles and anticipated lifetime in Appendix 5). The contract will not include vehicles with valid warranties or consequent service contracts.
