NordForsk invites interested suppliers (research institutes, consultants and other relevant suppliers) to bid on the following:

Evaluation of research programs:

A. Research on Food, Nutrition and Health 2007-2011 (Nordic Centre of Excellence Programme), 3 centers.

and

B. Welfare Research 2006-2011 (Nordic Centre of Excellence Programme, 2 centers.

The overall purpose of the evaluation of the two Nordic Centres of Excellence (NCoE) programs is to analyse the Nordic added value achieved on the basis of the original objectives for each of the programs referred to in Annexes "Attachment 1" and "Attachment 2" to the tender documents "NCoE Evaluation - Competition Basis ". In addition the evaluation shall analyse how the programs have evolved during the program period. The assessments shall be empirically justified, including the experiences of relevant actors and stakeholders.

The evaluation will cover the program period for both of the NCoE programs from the start and including the final activities in 2013.

The contract value is 700,000 Norwegian krone excluding VAT.

The work will result in one or more reports delivered to NordForsk no later than the 28th of February 2014.

The results of the evaluation will be presented at a NordForsk conference or a similar event. The exact times and other frameworks for this will be determined with the consultation with the supplier.
