For more than 50 years, RAG Aktiengesellschaft (RAG) has been carrying out image flights for photogrammetric surveying. The purpose of the flights is the simultaneous acquisition of high-resolution digital aerial and airborne laser scanning data for the derivation of high-precision digital terrain models (DTM) for the detection of altitude changes in the course of the early detection of day breaks, grain escape zones and fracture fissures.
For more than 50 years, RAG Aktiengesellschaft (RAG) has been carrying out image flights for photogrammetric surveying. This involves flying over the areas of historic near-surface mining, as well as the tailings piles and surface facilities of RAG. The purpose of the flights is the simultaneous acquisition of high-resolution digital aerial and airborne laser scanning data for the derivation of high-precision digital terrain models (DTM) for the detection of altitude changes in the course of the early detection of day breaks, grain escape zones and fracture fissures compared to the DTM of previous flights recorded in the annual cycle. At the same time, aerial photographs are the basis for stereophotogrammetric measurements, dense image matching and image-based classification in time series comparisons.
This contract concerns the aerial survey of the old mining areas of RAG Aktiengesellschaft as part of the old mining monitoring (ABMon), the aerial survey of the tailings piles and surface facilities (HuTA) as well as the digital image acquisition and the processing of the resulting image data (aerotriangulation and creation of orthophotos).
