SRH Klinikum Burgenlandkreis GmbH, together with the SRH Naumburg Hospital and the SRH Clinic Zeitz, is an academic teaching hospital of the University Hospital Jena and the University of Leipzig. SRH Klinikum Burgenlandkreis GmbH is part of SRH Klinikum GmbH, one of the leading private clinic providers with 12 acute and six rehabilitation clinics as well as a large number of medical care centers. Over 10,000 employees look after 1 million patients a year. The SRH Hospital Naumburg is one of the two clinics of SRH Klinikum Burgenlandkreis GmbH. It has 468 beds and treats 15,500 inpatients and 22,000 outpatient patients a year. The planned construction project is located in the eastern part of the property. The central ensemble will be closed by means of a four-storey medical functional building with a connection to the existing buildings of house 1 and house 2. The three above-ground floors house paediatric and adolescent medicine with ambulance and neonate area, a gynaecological ward with outpatient and delivery rooms, and oncology and palliative medicine. The new building of House 7 is currently under shell construction in the major parts of the building and weatherproof. Funds are used for the measure in accordance with Article 14 para. 1 Health Structure Act (HSG).
