The University of Agder shall procure a laser tracker for measuring and registering motions in 6 degrees of Freedom Motion in the Norwegian Motion Laboratory. This is a research laboratory that also executes pilot tests for the industry.

Typical measurements are positions and angles for objects placed on top of 2 motion platforms (Stewart platforms) in the Motion Laboratory. Measuring other equipment such as hydraulic cranes and industrial robots shall also be executed.
