The purpose of this public European tender is to conclude a framework agreement with one contractor for the laundry and ironing service for residents of Twenterand municipality, in the form of a general provision.

The effective date of the framework agreement is 01-06-2022, the framework agreement has a term of four years and can be extended by a maximum of 4 x 1 year after the end of that term.

The maximum term of the framework agreement is therefore eight years.

The reason for concluding a framework agreement for more than four years has to do with the necessary investments and therefore a reasonable payback period for setting up this laundry and ironing service. In addition, in this way, we encourage sustainable cooperation in the field of social involvement and social employment.

The municipality intends to create a general provision for the laundry and ironing service to replace the laundry care module that is currently still part of the household support in the form of a tailor-made facility. By organising these tasks in other ways, the municipality aims to achieve efficiency so that the municipality can continue to meet its obligations in a sustainable manner. This general provision should be accessible to all residents of the municipality of Twenterand.

The municipality of Twenterand defines two types of users for the laundry and ironing service:

- Residents who are unable to perform laundry and ironing services tasks due to a restriction

- Residents who do not experience any restrictions in this area.
