On the basis of the Municipal Act (Article 213), the municipal council appoints an accountant to assist it in its supervisory function. With this tender, the city council aims to conclude an agreement with one contractor before 1 July 2023.

Content of the assignment

• The audit of the annual accounts in accordance with Article 213 of the Municipal Act, including the audits of the Single Information, Single Audit (SISA).

• Performing the natural advisory function, the accountant provides for the natural advisory function, i.e. he advises the official and administrative management both solicited (at the request of the municipality) and unsolicited (on his own initiative).

• Audit of other (partial) justifications, for other auditor's reports, such as statements for ISV subsidies, separate assignments are given.

• Performing the annual interim audit (in preparation for the annual accounts audit), resulting in the management letter and board letter.
