The objective of this tender is to appoint a supplier capable of performing a full grounds maintenance service through the completion all of the tasks requested in the performance specification (Document 4). The majority of these tasks will be completed within the maintenance cycle of the sites in question, which normally falls between March and October each year. However, the successful bidder will also be expected to perform weather dependent and seasonal tasks in support of the different sites they tend to as well as ad-hoc requirements, such as the removal of graffiti.

The successful supplier should be experienced in working within the Housing sector, with particular experience of dealing with PFI or similar initiatives. The successful supplier should also be experienced in dealing with older and vulnerable adults and be able to communicate effectively regarding their service, whilst at the same time providing minimal disruption to the lives of all tenants.

The procurement will be conducted as an OJEU restricted procedure. A Prior Information Notice has been introduced meaning that each stage has been shortened to 15 days.
