In the area of application development (AE), the "TVS" procedure is being developed at the Karlsruhe Regional Finance Directorate - State Center for Data Processing (LZfD), which provides the financial offices with comprehensive office functionalities and interfaces to other specialist applications, including electronic file management.

An essential module of "TVS" is the LTS version of LibreOffice (currently in version 6.4).

TVS is used in the Upper Finance Directorate and in the tax offices of Baden-Württemberg on the workplaces of approx. 17,500 employees.
