Vattenfall Wasserkraft GmbH (VWK) intends to conclude a multi-year value contract for its dams in the federal states of Thuringia, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein for special engineering services in the field of structural monitoring and dam safety.

The framework agreement is intended to regulate the principles for the performance of consulting, planning and expert tasks. In any case, the contractor must represent the interests of the client with special care.

These engineering services with the following scope are mainly to be provided via the framework agreement:

- Preparation of documents for new construction, reconstruction, conversion, extension, modernization, maintenance and repair of the facilities for metrological building monitoring,

- Planning and supervision of new construction, reconstruction, conversion, extension, modernization, maintenance and repair of the facilities for metrological building monitoring,

- Creation of measurement and control programs or revision of existing measurement and control programs,

- Secondary statistical evaluations of data from metrological structural monitoring,

- Participation in the processing of documents for in-depth inspections from the point of view of building supervision,

- expert work for damage to measuring equipment,

- Use of the data management software GKS-Pro for the tasks of building monitoring / measurement technology,

- carrying out hydrological calculations for the catchment areas of the dams,

- Carrying out hydraulic calculations,

- Stability calculations of dams and dams as well as hydraulic engineering facilities,

- Engineering geological reports and planning as well as supervision of retaining body and subsoil investigations,

- Calculations within the framework of in-depth inspections of dams (seismological reports, meteorological reports / wind reports, flood safety, retention, ...),

- Carrying out planning and monitoring tasks in the context of repairs/expansions of dams,

- Numerical calculations of groundwater flow and dam failure scenarios, optimization of structures, verifications of serviceability,

- Carrying out investigations into the state of construction,

- Special surveying tasks / evaluation of surveying results in the context of consulting, planning and expert tasks,

- Carrying out environmental impact assessments and planning support / advice on environmental law issues, carrying out approval planning,

- Preparation / revision of water management plans and water management operating plans,
