The Bavarian Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVB) invites tenders to carry out driving services to ensure the medical on-call service, especially during non-office hours (emergency service) in the Bamberg / Forchheim region.
The subject of the tender is the provision of a transport service for the medical on-call service, particularly during non-office hours (emergency service) in the Bamberg / Forchheim region. The driving services are to be provided in the named core region and within the framework of the cross-regional brokerage in the adjacent neighboring regions. The contractually agreed number of vehicles and drivers must be kept available during shift times. The emergency vehicle must arrive within 15 minutes of the alarm from the switching and advisory center.
The contractor must use at least compact class cars or comparable SUVs for the driving services, which in particular must have all-wheel drive, an anti-lock braking system and driving dynamics control. The first registration must not be more than 5 years ago at the time of use and the total mileage must not exceed 300,000 km at any time. The basic color of the vehicles must be white and be marked with a foil label as an emergency vehicle of the medical on-call service.
In addition to the transport service, the respective driver must accompany the doctor on duty to the patient at the respective treatment location, carry the emergency equipment and provide the doctor with qualified support. The drivers must be in possession of a valid driver's license to transport passengers in accordance with Section 48 of the Driver's License Ordinance (FeV) and have one of the following qualifications: emergency services helper, paramedic, paramedic, emergency paramedic,
Nursing and health nurse, medical assistant, medical student after successfully completing the 1st section of the medical examination (cand. Med.) Or a comparable training that was successfully completed in the Bundeswehr.
