The Kent Police and Crime Commissioner (the ‘Contracting Authority’) in collaboration with the Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex (the ‘Related Authority’) has procured an integrated software solution for mobile devices. This procurement forms part of a wider mobile police working programme, the objective of which is to establish a single infrastructure and support environment for roll-out of mobile technology across the 2 policing bodies.
The Kent Police and Crime Commissioner (the ‘Contracting Authority’) in collaboration with the Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex (the ‘Related Authority’) has procured, through the use of the open procedure, an integrated software solution for mobile devices. The purpose of the competition was to establish a single supplier Framework Agreement, with an initial term of two (2) years, and the ability to extend by one or more periods up to a further aggregate of two (2) years. The call-off contracts under the Framework Agreement will be for up to six (6) years' duration, made up of an initial term of four (4) years plus the ability to extend by 1 or more periods up to a further aggregate of two (2) years.
