The successful bidder must carry out the design, preparation, execution, monitoring and evaluation of the activities of sociocultural animation and promotion of active aging and for the elderly promoted by the administrative unit responsible for monitoring the contract, which are described below, which must be conducted by technically prepared professionals, and which are developed throughout the year, in all Active Life Centres (previously known as Centres for the Elderly) in addition to activities aimed at this sector of the population in other places or infrastructures.

The City Council of Valladolid has been developing, through the Area of Social Services and Community Mediation, various sociocultural and socio-educational animation projects aimed at the elderly, working from this intervention on active aging policies and on the other hand group intervention projects with various sectors of the population (women, men, childhood, youth,...), these projects develop objectives of prevention of situations of risk of social exclusion and promotion and participation in the community context
