The offshore wind farm Global Tech I (GT I) in the German exclusive economic zone of the North Sea has been in operation since 2015.
The client intends to commission a service provider to carry out helicopter flights for the regular transport of people and freight, including dangerous goods, from Emden to the wind farm and back. There should be at least one flight (outward and return flight) every 2 weeks on a fixed day of the week and another flight every 3 weeks on a fixed day of the week (probably a total of 44 flights per year). Furthermore, there should be the possibility of optional flights on the part of the client as required (probably a total of 10 flights per year). The client's transport needs include about 6 to 12 people plus luggage and other freight and thus a total load of about 800 up to 1 100 kg. The availability of at least one helicopter with seats for 6 passengers and one helicopter with seats for 12 passengers is desirable.
Furthermore, the contractor should offer the necessary PPE for offshore transport for optional loan.
The contract term will be 24 months. The client can unilaterally extend the term three times by 12 months each time.

The operators of neighboring wind farms should be given the option of optionally also transporting people with luggage using these flights.
