The object of this contract is to:

1) provide support to the European Commission and the EU Member States in implementing the EU Communication on ‘Stepping up EU Action to Protect and Restore the World’s Forests’ (‘Deforestation Communication’); and

2) provide support to the European Commission and the EU Member States in the implementation and enforcement of the EU Timber Regulation and the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) Regulation.
