Vindafjord municipality, hereafter referred to as VK, aims at entering into an agreement for the purchase of electrical installation materials and services. The contract concerns electrical work (repairs, maintenance, installations, reconstruction etc.) and materials as described in this document.

Vindafjord municipality has a building portfolio with an area of approx. 33 000m2. See annex A - Overview of properties

The number of properties may change during the agreement period.

Electrical services will typically include the following work:

- Service and maintenance of electrical systems and computer networks in municipal buildings.

- Troubleshooting and repairs to electrical installations.

- Expansion/upgrades to the existing installations.

- Establishment of new electrical installations.

- Installation work

- Authorised inspections of commercial buildings with thermography every 3 year.

- Authorised annual inspections of commercial buildings with thermography for institutions.

- Authorised inspections of municipal buildings with thermography every 3 year.

- Annual courses in the 'Regulations on safety when working with and operating electrical installations' (Norwegian: FSE) for the municipal operating personnel 

- Follow-up measures subsequent to the FSE courses by training operating personnel in the relevant buildings. 

- Procurement of electrical equipment, light bulbs, lamps, electric heat sources, etc.

The authorised control shall be conducted in accordance with a plan that ensures even cost distribution during the 3-year agreement period. Deviations must be concluded by agreement with the contracting authority.

The tenderer must refer to routines for the implementation and follow-up of call-offs:

- Work at workplaces in full operation (schools, nurseries, nursing homes, sports halls, administration buildings, etc.)

- Emergency assignments, i.a urgent assignments

- Use of apprentices

- Follow-up of own employees in regard to the quality of work

- Nonconformity management

The tenderer must be able to document the scope of work by presenting photos (before / after) if required by VK. Documentation must then be made available to VK before the invoicing.

The agreement includes the delivery of electrical materials and the management of discarded materials/electrical equipment.

Lighting systems for roads are not included in the agreement.

Investment projects are not included in the agreement. The contracting authority reserves the right to call for tenders when a single order exceeds NOK 100,000 excluding VAT.
