Ship chartering services. Ministry of Defence - Future Vessel Chartering Requirements.
The Ministry of Defence has the occasional need to charter vessels for marine operations including but not limited to; salvage, port clearance, wreck removal, object recovery, survey, diving/ROV support, towing & heavylift.
To enable the Ministry to respond to these requirements it has to maintain lists of vessel owners/operators and ship brokers who have expressed an interest in being included in the lists to be informed if a charter requirement arises.
The Ministry is therefore advertising the requirement for expressions of interest to be submitted by interested parties in respect of the following lists:
Towing Vessel List
Offshore Support Vessel List (to include Salvage, Survey, Diving/ROVetc)
Inshore Support Vessel List (to include Multicat, Inshore Survey Vessels, sullage and lightering barges etc)
Heavy List Vessel List
In addition to the Expression of interests sought, companies are requested to submit a brief summary of their applicability for each list, based upon previous experience and current or future capability.
Please note the following:
In accordance with the Governments Policy on Transparency, resultant contracts will be published online. Though Contractors/companies will have the opportunity to request the redaction of commerically sensitive information, prior to publication.
