The European Union Reference Laboratory for GM Food and Feed (EU-RL GMFF) requires a contract for the routine production of plasmid control samples (PCSs). The EU-RL GMFF is responsible for the reception, preparation, storage, maintenance and distribution to national reference laboratories (NRLs) of the appropriate positive and negative control samples, according to its legal mandate as laid down in Regulation (EC) 1829/2003, and amended by Regulation (EC) No 1981/2006.

The contractor shall prepare PCSs based on a sequence designed by the EU-RL GMFF and insert them in a circular vector.
