The contract is divided into three lots.

The objective of the General Civil Liability/General Property Policy is to guarantee the economic consequences of the civil and patrimonial liability that, according to the current legal regulations, may correspond directly, jointly, subsidiarily or jointly to the UIB for bodily damages, material damages and losses that are a direct consequence of those, involuntarily caused to third parties, as a public entity dedicated to teaching, Research, university extension provider of educational and administrative services, as concessionaire of licenses for the exploitation of various services, patents of its property and the performance of supervised teaching practices, except for the internships of students enrolled in the studies of Health Sciences.

The objective of the Professional Civil Liability policy for technicians: Architects, engineers, technical engineers, is to cover liability for the professional activities carried out by architects, technical architects, engineers, civil servants or similar technical engineers in the service of the Public Administration, exclusively in the performance of their professional duties and functions on behalf of the University. in the execution and design of technical projects, construction management, coordination in health and safety matters, as well as the drafting of medical reports and similar activities related to the profession

The objective of the Health Civil Liability policy is to guarantee the civil liability that may be required of the UIB as a result of damages caused involuntarily to third parties by events arising from its activity such as: Non-surgical Speciality Centres external academic internships of the Faculty of Medicine, Psychology, Nursing and Physiotherapy.
