2.1 Description
Description of the scope of work: Painting including preparation of small and large objects. Painting of everything from components such as mirrors, covers, wheel sets for train carriages, locomotives, buses, lorries and lifts.
Desired experience: Experience working independently on medium and large objects is desired. The work includes filling, grinding and painting with car paint and/or industry finish. Experience with fibreglass work is necessary.
Desired competence: Vocational qualification as a painter, long experience can compensate for a lack of vocational qualification. It is necessary that hired personnel speak and write Norwegian or English.
Geographical area: The work will primarily be carried out at Mantena's workshop at Grorud in modern facilities. (Eilert Smiths vei no. 1, 0975 Oslo). There is a canteen, shower and changing room at the workshop. Some travel must be expected in the Oslo and Drammen areas.
The resource need varies from day to day. It is therefore important that the tenderer has the ability for rapid response and adaptation. The resource need can vary from 0-12 days work. There is no guarantee for a minimum volume, but in 2014 the average need was 4-8 years work.
Hired personnel will work under Mantena's management and must adapt to internal procedures, HSE and safety regulations at the workshop where the work is carried out.
