The Landeskrankenhaus - Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts - (hereinafter referred to as LKH) is the sponsor of several predominantly psychiatric and neurological specialist clinics and a somatic primary care hospital in Rhineland-Palatinate. The LKH provides cleaning services for some of its facilities and locations. In this context, four partial lots and the specialist lots for maintenance cleaning and glass cleaning were formed. The specialist maintenance cleaning includes either some or all of the activities of building cleaning, bed preparation and dishwashing services referred to as core services.

The total cleaning area for the compartment lot with its 7 locations is 12,542,141 m² per year. The average annual number of beds to be prepared is approximately 7,380. In accordance with the tender documents, not all core maintenance cleaning services (building cleaning, dishwashing services, bed preparation) are to be provided at every location of the specialist lot. It is pointed out that within the framework of this specialist lot, glass surfaces in the area of the correctional facility must be cleaned. This applies exclusively to the Rheinhessen-Fachklinik Alzey site. The execution of measures is part of the custodial measures within the meaning of §§63 et seq. of the German Criminal Code, which requires a security level comparable to the security standard of a prison. At the two locations, building cleaning and bed preparation (no dishwashing services) are to be provided as core services of maintenance cleaning in accordance with the tender documents.
