Oslo Universitetssykehus, Rikshospitalet, Avdeling for medisinsk biokjemi, shall procure new equipment for pre-analytical and analytical activities. In addition, the post-analytical tasks shall be automated in the form of archiving and retrieval of sample glasses. We are thinking of a conveyor system with reception control, centrifuges, aliquotters, sorters, corking machine, analyses instruments for clinical chemical and immune chemical analyses and refrigerators for archiving/storing analysed samples. It will be an advantage to be able to connect the haematology and coagulation instruments to the conveyer belt The objective is to achieve an efficient system which provide high quality and a reduced and predictable response time. Approx. 3 820 000 analyses at MBK, RH are carried out. In the unit for biochemistry, approx. 2 000 000 analyses are analysed, of which 10 % involve immune chemical analyses. The system should handle an increase of 20 % of the analyses volume. All analyses shall have a back-up system.
