Description:
Infuusiojärjestelmä

The wellbeing services county of North Ostrobothnia (later Pohde) requests your offer for the Infusion System as defined in this invitation to tender and its appendices. The multi-year procurement agreement for the infusion system covers equipment and system deliveries and supplies for the new hospital (OYS 2030). Pohde is looking for a contractual partner that is best able to meet the requirements of the invitation to tender and is committed to long-term cooperation.

In order to qualify for the offer comparison, the Provider must offer all items in the Infusion System, which are as follows:

Destination) INJECTION PUMP

Destination) INFUSION MACHINE

Target) MAGNET COMPATIBLE (MRI) PROTECTIVE CASE

Target) CONTROL SYSTEM

Destination) DEVICE-SPECIFIC ACCESSORIES

Patient operations at the new hospital will begin in March 2024 in accordance with the current plan.

The aim of the new hospital is to acquire an infusion system that will be used to treat patient groups of different ages (from premature to adult). In addition, there are special requirements for premature infants, newborns and paediatric patients, which have been taken into account in the invitation to tender. Infusion therapy is also performed in challenging treatment situations requiring imaging, which is why MRI compatibility needs have been taken into account in the invitation to tender.

In the future, hospitals will also treat patients who are on average sicker and at higher risk than they currently do, so the importance of an efficient infusion system to ensure patient safety will be further emphasised.

The infusion system includes syringe pumps, infusion machines and related monitoring systems and accessories. Combining the above-mentioned devices with the monitoring system, for example, significantly improves the traceability of infusions and the anticipation of drug preparation. By utilising network connections, the management of the medicine library and possible alarm transfers can be carried out in a controlled and centralised manner. Remote monitoring of infusions also enhances the anticipation of pharmacotherapy and thus promotes the completion of the entire treatment process.

The aim is to keep the patient rooms of the new hospital adaptable, because in the future it may be necessary to quickly change the patient rooms from one to two seats, which will affect the placement and use of equipment.

The equipment associated with the infusion system will become the property of the medical technology. This means that medical technology controls and transfers equipment between units according to the needs of the units.
