The construction project involves the extension (EB) as well as the renovation and functional adaptation of the existing building (BB) of the Bauhaus archive/Museum of Design (BHA) in Berlin. The property is located in the Mitte district in the Tiergarten-Süd area.

- Approx. 286 m3 of soil loosen excavation pits for shoring, around the building in non-contiguous working areas, partly in manual excavation in the area of old waterproofing worthy of protection

- Supply, install and compact approx. 891 m3 of soil to the building in non-contiguous working areas

Sheeting work

- approx. 186 m2 vertical standard shoring, supported on one side against the existing outer wall, sole width up to 1.6 m, sole depth up to 3 m,

Demolition and disposal work

- Break off and dispose of approx. 480 m2 of sealing on external walls

- Break off and dispose of approx. 32 m2 of roof sealing and protective layers

- Break off and dispose of approx. 165 m2 insulation material as base insulation and approx. 26 m2 roof insulation

- break off and dispose of approx. 24 m3 concrete/reinforced concrete components, in various dimensions

- break off and dispose of approx. 24 m3 of masonry, in various dimensions

- break off and dispose of approx. 7 m3 of screed, in various thicknesses

- Break off and dispose of approx. 112 m2 old KMF insulation under screed (polluted)

- Produce breakthroughs in existing walls of various sizes, including static upgrading measures

Concrete and reinforced concrete work

- approx. 9 m3 of reinforced concrete for small-area additions as reinforced concrete walls and ceilings, beams, beams, reinforcement cover

- 2 pieces of precast reinforced concrete elements as light shafts on the outer wall

- 20 pieces of precast reinforced concrete elements as individual brackets for upgrading existing light wells

- Produce breakthroughs in existing reinforced concrete in various sizes, including static strengthening measures

Steel construction work

- approx. 1.5 tons of steel structures in the existing building, as a static upgrade for broken components, including corrosion protection coatings and fire protection clothing

Waterproofing and insulation work

- approx. 550 m2 bituminous sealing of external wall surfaces with connection to old waterproofing at the connection wall head black tub, including perimeter insulation in various thicknesses and studded membrane in small areas

- approx. 90 m2 of sealing with liquid plastic on and in light wells and access shafts

- approx. 30 m2 bituminous roof waterproofing and slope insulation

- approx. 140 m2 of insulation on the floor slab below the load distribution plate in the interior to upgrade an existing base plate

- approx. 50 m2 thermal insulation composite system including plaster and surface protection in light wells and supply shafts

Concrete repair work

- approx. 250 m2 of wall and floor space with work to repair load-bearing
