The Research Council of Norway, c/o the Department of Statistics and Evaluation, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for secretarial services for subject evaluations. The Research Council of Norway shall in the period 2022-2025 carry out four evaluations.

Tenderers must submit tenders for the fields, "Life Sciences" and "Science and Technology" to be considered and awarded a contract. However, they will only be awarded a contract as the main provider for one discipline. The tenderer who is the main provider in one field will be the second provider in the other field, back up provider, and must be able to provide resources in this field if needed.

Evaluations under the Portfolio Board for Life Sciences

- Evaluation of life sciences (EVALBIOVIT 2022-2023)

- Evaluation of medicine and health sciences (EVALMEDHELSE 2023-2024). Evaluations under the Portfolio Board for Science and Technology

- Evaluation of natural sciences [excluding life sciences] (EVALNAT 2022-2023)

- Evaluation of mathematics, ICT and technology (EVALMIT 2023-2024)

The evaluations include all research-performing sectors outside the business sector (higher education sector, institute sector, health trusts) and shall be carried out by international peers supported by a professional secretariat (this contract). To consider any delays and follow-up work the contract period is one year longer than the planned time frame for the evaluations

The estimated value is NOK 10 million excluding VAT. The maximum value is NOK 15 million excluding VAT.
