The community of Riegelsberg wants to build a rear annex to the existing building for the expansion and for the improvement of the afternoon care at the location "Grundschule Hilschbach-Walpershofen". In the course of the preparatory measures, the municipality of Riegelsberg acquired the following parcels: 19/9, 20/7 and 21/7 (see aerial photo / site plan). The building site for the extension and its spacing areas should be located on these parcels.
Since the current care rooms and the cafeteria are located in the basement of the existing main building and this offers an unsatisfactory solution in the long term, the new extension should serve as a first step to remove the existing care rooms and the previous canteen from these rooms and thus the care situation for the Improve students.
Since the afternoon care at the Hilschbach-Walpershofen location is to be expanded from around 50 full-day + half-day spaces to around 100 full-day + half-day spaces by 2025, the extension must be planned in such a way that it can easily be expanded with another extension in the following years .
The extension should extend over two floors in alignment with the previous main building of the Hilschbach-Walpershofen primary school (see aerial photo + map) and should also be accessible through this. As a result of this planning, the teachers' room and the rector's room on the ground floor of the existing building are omitted, which should therefore also be included in the planning of the extension. Since the student and staff toilets are currently sharing the premises and these are now to be separated, new staff toilets must be taken into account when planning the extension. The student toilets will remain at their current location.
