Saarland plans to build the new prosthesis / preparation, anatomy, and biophysics and physiology teaching areas (PPBP) for med. Faculty of the Saarland University (UdS) on the Homburg campus to award the following service:

Planning services for the technical equipment (TA) according to § 53 HOAI of service phases 2-9. TA planning acc. §53 HOAI ff, plant groups 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8: sewage, water, gas plants; Heat supply systems; Air conditioning systems; Use-specific systems (without laboratory and medical technology) and building and system automation.

The VgV object planning process is currently running with an embedded realization competition. The process is expected to be completed in mid-November 2020.

At the same time there are 3 further tenders: structural engineering, planning services for TA system groups 4-6 and system group 7 - laboratory and medical technology.

Project description:

The construction measure involves the new construction of the prosthesis / preparation of the anatomy as well as teaching areas of biophysics and physiology for the med. Faculty with a usable area (1-7) of 2 308 m 2nd .

The new building is divided into 4 organizational units. The unit of "Prosektur" comprises a usable area of

428 m 2nd for the employees. On a usable area of 655 m 2nd The "Preparation" unit with 40 preparation tables offers excellent teaching opportunities for up to 360 students. The "Common Areas" organizational unit has a usable area of 565 m 2nd an auditorium for 320 students. The central foyer, which serves as the central entrance, is also located in this unit. The "internship" unit, which contains the rooms of biophysics and biochemistry, has a usable area of 660 m 2nd on.

Service description:

Planning services for the technical equipment (TA) of the above-mentioned construction project in accordance with Section 53 HOAI 2013 of service phases 2-9 for plant groups 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8: sewage, water and gas plants; Heat supply systems; Air conditioning systems; Use-specific systems (without laboratory and medical technology) and building and system automation

The individual service phases are commissioned in stages.

- Service level 1: Service phases 1-4;

- Service level 2: Service phase 5;

- Service level 3: Service phase 6-7;

- Service level 4: Service phase 8;

- Service level 5: Service phase 9

The first step is to commission performance level 1.

On the part of the contractor there is no legal claim to the commissioning of further service phases or to an overall commission.

For the measure, a gross cost target of KG 300-400 is estimated at EUR 17 340 000, of which EUR 9 200 000 gross is earmarked for the technical systems (KG 400). Plant groups 1, 2, 3, 7 (excluding laboratory and medical technology) and 8 account for around EUR 5,000,000 gross.

Project period:

- Commissioning of the fourth quarter of 2020;

- Estimated start of construction in the 1st quarter of 2023;

- Completion of construction work by the second quarter of 2025.
