The B184 is one of the most important long-distance roads in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. It connects the east of the country, in particular the regional center Dessau-Roßlau with the state capital Magdeburg, and it also connects the A2 and A9 federal motorways. The route of the B184 OU Roßlau / Tornau leads in a southwestern arc around Roßlau that spans the location. The route length of the new building is 3.97 km, of which 200 m are urban. The existing road network is connected via 4 nodes. The bypass requires the erection of 6 bridges, a trough structure and 2 retaining walls. Two bridge structures serve to cross the railway line 6411 Trebnitz - Leipzig at level level.
According to the preliminary cost estimate, the total costs amount to EUR 46.736 million.
