The subject of the award procedure is the conclusion of a framework agreement for the delivery of monographs from publishers from the countries of origin Germany, Austria and the German-speaking part of Switzerland (D-A-CH) to Paderborn University Library for a period of 2 years starting on 01.09.2023. The contract also includes a four-time extension option for a further year each (total term max. six years).

The term "monographs" also includes electronic information media (esp. E-book single titles with institutional license), non-book materials and microforms. Furthermore, the order portfolio also includes the supply of antiquarian copies and, to a lesser extent, the procurement of "grey literature".
