The contract consists of the supply of a used self-propelled rubber port crane ready for delivery, to be used at the port of Termini Imerese for container handling (loading and unloading) on container ships. For a description of the technical characteristics of the crane, which is equipped with all the safety devices required by current safety regulations, please refer to the Special Specifications (attached to the tender documentation).
By submitting the tender, the O.E. accepts the conditions of performance of the contract, without any reservation.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 8, paragraph 1 letter b), of Legislative Decree 76/2020, converted into law with amendment by Law 120/2020, considering the timing of the implementation of the intervention in question, under penalty of loss of funding, the reductions in procedural terms referred to in Article 60, paragraph 3 of Legislative Decree 50/2016 apply.
The crane required is self-propelled of the tower type and lattice boom, translating on tires, equipped with spreaders of adequate capacity, mainly used for the handling of 20 and 40 foot containers, as better described in the Special Specifications.
As a supply of used cranes ready for delivery, the delivery time is 15 days from the award notice. The same is considered completed when the Crane is declared by the supplier to be available, assembled and functioning in the quay area indicated at the time of the offer and in any case suitable for carrying out the loading of the crane in translation on a maritime vehicle, such as pontoon or ro-ro ship. The contractor shall provide the lifting equipment necessary for the possible dismantling and subsequent embarkation of the counterweights and stabilizer plates, should such dismantling become necessary for the purpose of embarkation as requested by the command vessel entrusted with the transport. The tender selection criterion is that of the most economically advantageous tender (OEPV).
The contract in question is part of the broader infrastructural completion of the port of Termini Imerese "New quay for the logistics of the port of Termini Imerese" (CUP Master I61B21002290005) referred to in the intervention sub. " Intermodal logistics platform - Reinforcement of the container terminal (CUP I67F21000010006).
The intervention "PNRR ZES - PORT OF TERMINI IMERESE. COMPLETION OF TERMINI IMERESE INFRASTRUCTURE – NEW LOGISTICS QUAY – CUP Master: I61B21002290005" is included in the Infrastructure Intervention Program for Special Economic Zones (SEZs) of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), approved by Interministerial Decree no. 492 of 03/12/2021, for the amount of € 36,000,000.00. Following the acceptance of the funding granted by the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructure and Mobility in agreement with the Ministry for the South and Territorial Cohesion, on 21/10/2022 the relevant Deed of Obligation was signed, approved by Directorial Decree no. 263 of 10/11/2022 and duly registered by the Court of Auditors.
