Additional Public Transportation
The Municipality of Amsterdam is responsible for providing appropriate transport by virtue of the Social Support Act 2015 (WMO) and the Amsterdam Social Support Regulation 2015, where the AOV is a service for persons who are unable to use due to restrictions private transport or public transport. The Municipality fulfils this obligation by providing the Assignment to an Entrepreneur. Given the nature and financial scope of the Contract, it is procured by the European public procedure.

In the context of this tender, the City of Amsterdam (hereinafter referred to as the Municipality) intends to purchase the Additional Public Transport Service (hereinafter referred to as the AOV). The Assignment consists of:
- hiring and planning trips of persons with an AOV indication;
- transporting persons with an AOV indication;
- the fulfilment of the directing function associated with the transport, including in any case the a) hiring, b) begging and (c) planning of the trips;
- optimizing the AOV together with the Municipality;
- to fulfil the sustainability and innovation objectives set out in this Guideline, jointly with the Municipality.
