Final Design and Supply of In-Divertor Electrical Services (IDES) and Supply of In-Vessel Supports (IVS) for Mineral Insulated (MI) Cabling for ITER Diagnostics Systems

The scope of the procedure includes design services (for In-Divertor Electrical Services (IDES) components), pre-manufacturing services, hardware procurement, manufacturing activities, testing activities, cleaning, packaging and delivery.

IDES provides electrical infrastructure for diagnostic sensors located in the Divertor Cassettes. Such infrastructure comprises of cabling, electrical junction boxes and connectors (including a connector that will be manipulated by remote means). Overall 16 sets need to be provided.

In-Vessel Supports concerns various types of mechanical supports for mineral insulated (MI) cabling to be used inside the vacuum vessel in the transmission lines of various diagnostic systems of the ITER machine.
