In the fire on 05.06.2022, the Harkenbleck multi-purpose hall (MZH) suffered massive fire damage. The daycare area was not directly affected and could be cleaned in the meantime and can currently be used again. Triggered by the fire in the existing multi-purpose hall, the intended reorganization of the property is seen as having the potential to strengthen the site as a multifunctional place for the village community. The feasibility study conceptually showed how the existing two-group daycare center can be convincingly rounded off on the existing site of the property with an extension by one group in conjunction with the multi-purpose hall (as a replacement new building) in terms of planning law and urban development. The study takes into account possibilities for different uses of the various user groups and shows the potentially available areas of a new building on an unchanged site.

According to the feasibility study, the total costs of all cost groups, including development, amount to EUR 7.4 million. The costs include development costs, construction costs and planning costs.
