Description:
Construction of small water retention facilities in the Ore River catchment. Stage III

The contract is carried out as part of the project "A comprehensive project of adaptation of forests and forestry to climate change - low retention and prevention of water erosion in lowlands".

The project is co-financed by the European Community budget (Cohesion Fund) under the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme 2014-2020).

This investment is carried out for the purpose of piling up and retention of inland surface water by the construction of facilities used to regulate flows on existing reproduced detailed melioration ditches in the River Ore catchment area of the Szprotawa Forest District.

The entire task was divided into 3 Stages, of which the first two Stages were awarded in 2019 and completed in 2020. The subject of this order is the construction works included in Stage III.

The task includes the execution of construction works consisting in the construction of small retention equipment together with the restoration of melioration ditches of approximately 14.70 km in length designated as R41 — section ID165419 — “Ore from Rudnica to Mound in km from 0+010 to 2+950 detailed trench R41-0 with its tributaries from the R41-1 to the R41-1 and the R42-ID16542 “Kopaniec” in km from 0+006 to 5+400 detailed ditch R41-0 with its tributaries from the R41-1 to the R41-11.

The task includes:

1) designed water equipment on ditches:

- DN 600 culverts with average length L=8,0m with maximum floor h=0,6m, pcs. 30,

- DN 600 culverts with an average length of L=8.0m without piling, drop 1 -2%, pcs. 17,

- reinforced concrete valves with maximum floor H=0.8m, pcs. 5,

- stone thresholds with maximum floor H=0,4m, pcs. 13,

2) recreation of ditches according to designed cross-sections and dips, including demulation and deepening of ditches existing at a length of about 6.2 km for R41 and 8.5 km for R42, with longitudinal declines of 0.2% - 0.4%, slope 1/1.5. Valves and culverts with piling will perform regulatory and retention functions and retentive thresholds. There are plans to redevelop escarpments and bolts within the designed equipment.

Power ditches — in front of springs and melt and rainwater from adjacent areas. During the rainy seasons, when a large amount of water drains into the ditches, automatic supply and water replenishment occurs in the specified sections of the ditch.

Technical condition of accompanying objects: culverts, through part of concrete pipes leaky and corroded — technical condition poor. Inlets and outlets infected, the whole needs to be replaced with new ones. Fuzzy and partially backfilled ditches need re-forming. In the main part, about 60% of the ditches require slight deepening and remodeling of the transverse profile, the others in deficient condition, shittiness due to high rainfall and high water levels, which destroyed the escarpment fortifications and wooden piling equipment. The ditches in their present form fulfil retention functions in a limited way, while the high flow of water causes environmental degradation in the lower part (draining of the land) and creates a flood risk for the village of Śliwnik.

The subject matter of the contract describes the annexes to the SWZ — the executive design, technical specifications for the performance and acceptance of works, the subject of works.
