The target of the procurement is Riedel Distributed Video Network products, Product Group F products and accessories, excluding Smart Panel products for the use of Yle Oy (later also "Yle" / "Subscriber").

The acquired Riedel Distributed Video Networks products will be used in The Finnish Broadcasting Company's studio and outdoor productions for the transmission, routing, matriisation and processing of image, sound and control signals, as well as for tunneling production Ethernet connections.

The products will become part of existing systems, so the products must integrate seamlessly with existing systems. Thus, compatibility with the existing production environment is based on products/product families of the same brand.

A framework agreement will be established through competitive tendering, in which a maximum of four (4) contractual partners will be selected to supply Yle with the products and supplies described in this invitation to tender and its appendices. The selection of contract suppliers for the framework agreement is made according to the discount percentage applicable during the contract period from the price list (SRP) of the equipment manufacturer (RIEDEL Communications GmbH &; Co. The products to be procured during the framework agreement are defined on a need-by-need basis and tenders are invited in accordance with the draft contract attached to the invitation to tender.

The object of the procurement is described in more detail in Appendix 1 "Description of the object of procurement" of the invitation to tender.

The value of procurements made under the framework agreement does not exceed EUR 400,000 excluding VAT. The number of products procured through a framework agreement may be considerably smaller, depending on Yle's investment decisions, among other things.

The agreement enters into force when the parties have signed the agreement and the agreement is valid for four (4) years.

This framework agreement replaces the framework agreement for YLE20230005 / Riedel Distributed Video Networks 2023-2027 products put out to tender by Yle in spring 2023.
