The initiative envisages that the Bank – as lead bank – and a number of National Central Banks (NCBs) and Eurosystem Printers (Imbisa, Stamperia del Banco di Spagna; Valora Serviços de Apoio à Emissão Monetária S.A, Printing House of the Bank of Portugal; Bank of Greece; Printing Works of Greece - Greek National Mint (IETA); Bank of France) may acquire, for a period of three years and each within the limit of its share of the ceiling, rolls of white thermo-adhesive paper bands coated with polyethylene for the packaging of bundles of euro banknotes, with characteristics in accordance with the Technical Specifications defined by the ECB.

The starting price is € 16.00 for each roll, net of VAT and the CONAI contribution. The estimated maximum amount, which includes the options referred to in point II.2.11), shall be as indicated in point II.1.5).

The nature of the performance does not entail security charges related to interference risks.
