The scope of the project is broadly as follows: to achieve a structural widening over a route of approximately 20 kilometres by upgrading the road with rush hour lanes to a road with 2x3 lanes with emergency lanes next to it.

As a result of the widening of the A2 motorway, 11 crossing works of art have to be completely replaced. 2 cross-connections over the A2 will be cancelled. These works of art will be removed.
