General description and purpose

The county board Östergötland conducts procurement of excavation missions and land contracts in nature reserves or similarly valuable natural areas. The aim is restoration of aquatic environments such as uncut wetlands, swamp forests, beaches, and straightened or cleared streams. The procurement applies to measures under the Nature Conservation Agency's Wetland venture and the Sea and Water Authority's efforts to Restoration in Water. It also includes restoration under Action Programs for Threatened Species in Water.
