The architectural services to be provided are planning services for construction and maintenance measures on various buildings (e.g. center buildings, outbuildings and exterior gates) and outdoor facilities of the DFS branch in Karlsruhe as required.

The engineering services to be provided are planning services for the technical building equipment of the technical infrastructure of the DFS branch in Karlsruhe as required.

The framework agreements to be concluded for planning services are made without a call-off obligation.

Through these framework agreements, DFS can call up planning services at short notice as individual call-offs with maximum chargeable costs according to the cost estimate for lot 1 of 700,000 euros and for lots 2 and 3 of 500,000 euros each.

The procurement is divided into 3 lots. A framework agreement shall be concluded per lot.

In the main building, the so-called center building, work is carried out in three shifts (7/24/365). The Karlsruhe branch ensures a large part of the surveillance of the upper airspace in Germany. The site of the branch has a plot size of 36,000 m². The gross floor area of all buildings is approximately 18,000 m².

For this purpose, planning services of work phases 1 to 9 that can be called up at short notice are provided in accordance with the performance profiles of the HOAI 2021 § 33 (buildings and interiors) and § 39 (outdoor facilities) for small and medium-sized work in existing buildings with the main focus:

- Brandschutzsanierungen,

- redesign (interior design),

- Umnutzungen,

- feasibility and concept studies,

- pollutant remediation, etc.
