Description:

The study will provide an in-depth analysis of shared use of commercial mobile networks for the provision of high-speed mobile data (broadband) communication services in sectors with special requirements. The study should focus on the feasibility of using commercial mobile networks to satisfy communication needs of PPDR, smart grids and railways. Those sectors are subject to a number of operational, functional and safety-related requirements. The viability of sharing options such as site sharing, network sharing and advanced spectrum sharing schemes (e.g. LSA) can be explored in detail for each sector.
