The municipality of Ostseebad Heringsdorf intends to renovate the existing sports field in the Ahlbeck district and to build a new functional building.

The following system components are planned:

- School sports facility with a circular track with 4 individual tracks and a short-distance track with 6 individual tracks,

- Renewal of the existing artificial turf pitch,

- renewal of the ball stop net,

- Long jump facility with 3 run-in lanes,

- high jump facility,

- basketball system,

- javelin system,

- shot put system,

- gymnastics meadow,

- Training area with tartan surface and additional volleyball marking,

- New construction of a sports function building with storage and changing rooms including a parking space for vehicles and bicycles.
