Stromnetz Berlin GmbH is carrying out modernisation measures on public lighting on behalf of and for the account of the State of Berlin.

The object of the project is the renewal of the lighting systems of Bebelplatz. The square is one of the most outstanding historical and urban design sites in Berlin. There are special lighting requirements for the illumination of the room-limiting facades and their indirect effect on the horizontal surfaces of the square. The aim is to achieve a variably controllable, needs-based lighting over time for the optimized representation and perception of the Bebelplatz.
